What it's like to work with me
I'm warm, steady, and attentive to the small details of your life—not only the issue that brought you through the door. If we work together, you won't need to perform "having it all together." I'm interested in what's true for you, including the parts that feel messy or hard to say out loud.
My path here wasn't a straight line. I was a teacher for years, and I still think like someone who cares about how people learn, how families actually function day to day, and what children need in order to feel secure. That lens comes with me when I'm sitting with parents, couples, or anyone untangling patterns that started a long time ago.
Motherhood is personal for me—I've lived the highs and lows of that season—and I know how heavy it can feel when you're carrying most of it alone. There's dedicated space for that chapter on our Motherhood Counselling page; I'm also glad to walk with you through many other transitions that don't fit a neat label.
In session I tend to slow things down enough to feel what's under the surface: the emotions, the protective habits, the longings that rarely get airtime. When practical tools are what you need, we'll use them—but I'm not going to skip over your interior life just to rush to a worksheet. We'll move at a pace your nervous system can tolerate, and we'll check in often about what's helping.
